  This will allow some of them, if they wish, to choose the path of the teacher in fine art and became an Art educator. They will have all the necessary skills, experience and knowledge to teach the Visual arts of their own children, for example, or any other school-age children.

Payment method

Payment method can be selected during filling up your online registration form.

Students pay for courses before the start of each quarter. If your fees are not paid one week prior to the course start, you will have a hold placed on your account and therefore will not be able to continue the course.

Course projects and final course test

  After studying the materials of each course, such as articles, video tutorials, audio podcasts and successfully completing practical projects, each student must pass a theoretical multiple-choice test.

Students suppose to achieve a minimum of 65% to pass the course test.

The final diploma program exam

Students  have to take all 12 courses to get a Diploma.

The final diploma program exam is an open-book, multiple-choice test and a real project for real customer.

 You need to achieve a minimum of 65% on the final exam to pass the course.

 a Diploma Certificate of course completion will be mailed 4-6 weeks later.

 All students are expected to work at a high level of independence, be self-motivated, respect peers and instructors, and participate in the opportunities that the Visual Art Education department of New Image College offer.

Course 1. Introduction to Computer History

This online course is #1 of 12 Required Core courses in our Diploma program.
Course Outline:

Computers were initially large machines that could fill entire rooms. Some were operated using large vacuum tubes that formed the basis of today’s transistors. In order to operate such machines, punch cards were used. One of the first examples of this was the Jacquard Loom. In 1833 Charles Babbage invented his difference engine, an early calculator. Together with the punch card design, he created the analytical engine. Regrettably, the engine never saw completion due to political issues.

Course 2. Introduction to Computers

This online course is #2 of 12 Required Core courses in our Diploma program.

Course Outline:
The objectives for Introduction to Computers will enable the student to use the computer effectively in a multitude of real-life and classroom scenarios.

The following topics will be studied:
Understand the basic parts of a computer system and their relationships.
Master the basic functions of the Windows operating system.
Understand and use basic computer terminology
Master print commands to produce hard copies of work
Design document layouts that are creative and properly formatted.

Course 3. Inside a computer case

This online course is #1 of 10 in our Diploma program.
Course Outline:
Have you ever looked inside a computer case before, or seen pictures of the inside of one? The small parts may look complicated, but the inside of a computer case really isn’t all that mysterious. This lesson will help students to master some of the basic terminologies and understand a little about what goes on inside the four walls of the computer casing.

Course 4. Computer Hardware Peripherals

This online course is #4 of 10 in our Diploma program.
Course Outline:

A peripheral is a piece of computer hardware that is added to a computer in order to expand its abilities. The term peripheral is used to describe those devices that are optional in nature, as opposed to hardware that is either demanded or always required in principle. There are all different kinds of peripherals you can add to your computer. The main distinction among peripherals is the way they are connected to your computer. They can be connected internally or externally.

Course Outline:

The system software is software designed to operate and control the hardware and to provide a platform for running application software. There are 5 main types of system software:

Course 6. Internet. How it all works?

This online course is #6 of 6 in our Diploma program.
Course Outline:

The Internet is part of nearly everything we do on a daily basis. But do you know how it all works? From WiFi to IP addresses to HTML to keeping information safe online, there’s a lot of important stuff going on that most of us don’t have the opportunity to learn more about. In course, you’ll get an inside look into foundational concepts of everything from wires to websites, Internet security and more.

Students will learn about the Internet,  features and the principles of how it works while studying this course.
